Paws on Parade

PAWS ON PARADE is a fundraiser to benefit High Sierra Animal Rescue and help save more homeless pets.

It is a one-day, fun event for your family, including your dog, on Saturday, June 10, 2017, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

PAWS ON PARADE consists of the Walk to Save Homeless Pets, the Family Festival and the Retrievers Ball.

It will also be an opportunity for past adopters to come with their adopted dogs, reunite with High Sierra Animal Rescue and raise money and awareness for homeless pets in need.

This event is rain or shine.

High Sierra Animal Rescue’s Walk to Save Homeless Pets is an event to raise awareness and funds for saving, caring for and finding forever homes for our community’s homeless pets. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for homeless pets. Together, we can create a future with no more homeless pets.

The Walk to Save Homeless Pets unites the entire community in a display of combined strength and dedication in High Sierra Animal Rescue’s mission. While there is no fee to register, each participant is expected to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness. High Sierra Animal Rescue provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help each participant reach their fundraising goal.  To register for the Walk the Save Homeless Pets, CLICK HERE, you will have the option to create a fundraising website for this event.  To collect donations offline (or in person), CLICK HERE.

Every walk participant that raises a minimum of $100 will receive a free event t-shirt.

When you participate in the Walk to Save Homeless Pets, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission-related initiatives of care, health support and search for loving forever homes. In addition, your actions, both through fundraising and participating in the event, help to change the level of homeless pet awareness in your community. Take the first step to a world with no more homeless pets by joining the Walk to Save Homeless Pets.

Check-in and day-of registration will be in the Park and begins at 10:00 am.  The walk will be one mile around the beautiful Mill Pond, in Graeagle, CA.  You will have two opportunities to complete the group walk, at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Friendly dogs, on a leash, are welcome and encouraged to come out and support High Sierra Animal Rescue.
